P.S. For clarification, Reliastar's NYC field office was also in the WTC --- they sent out a release yesterday saying all their people were accounted for. 
Additionally, the NAIC's staff of 44 people in their securities valuation department was in Building #7 across the street. That's the third building that went down long after being evacuated.

The new science of Pharmacogenomics will help patients get the safest drugs their genes can use.  Nearly 2 million Americans are hospitalized annually for side effects of prescription drugs, and 100,000 die.  Even the best medicines don't help everyone.   Even aspirin is not safe for everyone. 

Pharmacogenomics will eliminate the "one dose fits everyone I know" doctors use by providing simple tests so that the most effective drug for each patient's DNA.   Dr. Raymond Woosley and colleagues at Georgetown University Medical Center are testing the new technology.  Just swab the inside of a patient's check for a DNA sample, and run it over a tiny glass gene chip about the size of a postage stamp. 

The chip detects an errant enzyme system that affects how safely each patient metabolizes dozens of popular medicines.  Companies are getting ready to offer direct-to-consumer pharmacogenomic testing so that instead of waiting for your doctor to get up to speed you can just send a cheek swab to a laboratory to see how much risk you are running.
